Use of the service

EliminarFondo.app is a free web tool that removes backgrounds from images. The service is provided "as is", at no cost. You may use it freely for personal and commercial purposes, with no limit on the number of images processed.

Local processing and privacy

All images are processed directly in your browser via WebAssembly. No file is uploaded, stored, or transmitted to external servers. We do not have access to your images nor do we store copies of them.

Availability

The site is maintained with best effort, but 100% uptime is not guaranteed. There may be periods of inactivity due to maintenance, updates, or causes beyond our control.

File limits

Files must have a maximum size of 20 MB and be in PNG, JPG or WEBP format. Processing is not guaranteed for files that exceed this limit or use unsupported formats.

Result quality

The background removal process uses artificial intelligence and, like any AI technology, may make mistakes or produce imperfect results, especially on images with complex edges, fine hair, transparent objects, or difficult lighting conditions. We do not guarantee that the result will be perfect in all cases and are not responsible for the use made of the processed images.

Intellectual property of the code

The source code of EliminarFondo.app is licensed under GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). This means you can use, study, modify and distribute the code, provided that modifications are also distributed under the same license. The source code is available in the project repository.

User responsibility

You are responsible for the content of the images you process. You must not use EliminarFondo to process images that infringe copyright, image rights, or any other applicable legislation. We reserve the right to take appropriate measures if we detect misuse of the service.

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
