What is EliminarFondo?

EliminarFondo is a free web tool that automatically removes image backgrounds using artificial intelligence. Unlike other services, all processing happens in your browser — your images never get uploaded to any server. There are no usage limits, we don't require registration, and we don't add watermarks.

Why we created it

Background removal tools are often expensive, have daily limits, or worse: they upload your images to external servers where you lose control over them. We wanted an alternative that was as powerful as paid options, but completely free and without compromising your privacy. EliminarFondo was born from that idea: accessible technology for everyone, with no strings attached.

Who is behind it

EliminarFondo is an independent project. It doesn't belong to any company or corporation. It is maintained by one person who believes in free software, digital privacy, and building tools that solve real problems without asking for anything in return.
